Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christiano Ronaldo in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Beloki prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Edmundo London made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nevada Lopez de Toro however managed to control. Iurie Macovei's late challenge caught a Vodka Stars 1949's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iurie Macovei helped the player get up and apologised. 57 minutes into the match, Altza Herria's goal looked a bit too open when Curcio Alonso came free, but Julio-César van Beek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 60th minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Generoso Beloki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
