Federico Bouzas started the match with the kick off. Marcos Saavedra kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, Altza Herria's Marcos Saavedra made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Coronel Valdivia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fuerzas Armadas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Medero Barral scored to the left of an out of position Coronel Valdivia, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaizkine Armada in the 20th minute of play forced Altza Herria's goalkeeper Julio-César van Beek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Altza Herria's goal looked a bit too open when Gaizkine Armada came free, but Julio-César van Beek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Saavedra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Coronel Valdivia came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcos Saavedra slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. In the 40th minute Gaizkine Armada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio-César van Beek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Altza Herria's Coronel Valdivia threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Medero Barral, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Julio-César van Beek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinto Nobo in the 44th minute of the match. Fuerzas Armadas were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Altza Herria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. García Morales took the corner. Fuerzas Armadas's García Morales was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio-César van Beek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Altza Herria made a substitution. Angel Castelao replaced Conrado Pastor. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xerardo Amer was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Quinto Nobo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio-César van Beek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Elvio Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altza Herria's Julio-César van Beek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinto Nobo in the 56th minute of play. The corner ended in García Morales almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Altza Herria's Julio-César van Beek did a great save. If Medero Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fuerzas Armadas's García Morales got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A nice corner shot did that García Morales got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio-César van Beek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Julio-César van Beek managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Fuerzas Armadas's Xerardo Amer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 73rd minute Gaizkine Armada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio-César van Beek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Federico Bouzas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Coronel Valdivia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Marcos Saavedra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Coronel Valdivia was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Altza Herria's Juan Sánchez was substituted for Medero Barral. Urbasa Vazquez hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes, Altza Herria's Tạ Colado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Coronel Valdivia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Altza Herria reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaizkine Armada in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio-César van Beek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio-César van Beek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Rivas in the 92nd minute of play.
