An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Alcantara in the 25th minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claude Erosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curcio Alonso in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kobe Bryant in the 29th minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ona Somrient FC's Kobe Bryant in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 40th minute Kobe Bryant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Kobe Bryant made the kick off in the second half. Generoso Beloki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kobe Bryant in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Herrero in the 55th minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Beloki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Alcantara's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The supporters of Vodka Stars 1949 booed when Ona Somrient FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turi Guijarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ona Somrient FC's Martin Silbestre was substituted for Enzo Herrero. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vodka Stars 1949's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nechifor Hârșu was slow to take the kick. During this time Ona Somrient FC's players had a chance to rest. Nechifor Hârșu made a great header on Ona Somrient FC's corner, it was just that Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki got control of the ball when Rodolfo Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vodka Stars 1949's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kobe Bryant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ona Somrient FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
