Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Erik Thorstvedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Barrikako Herensugeak F.C from getting a goal against them. After 8 played minutes Boniel Alonso rounded Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 12th minute of the match Atlético de Candamil got a corner. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Medero Nadal ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Boniel Alonso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 15 played minutes Barrikako Herensugeak F.C got a freekick which was hit by Sergi Velazquez. In the 16th minute of the match Medero Nadal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Thorstvedt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erik Thorstvedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boniel Alonso in the 18th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Boniel Alonso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erik Thorstvedt. Boniel Alonso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, Sergi Velazquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético de Candamil the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Sergi Velazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Thorstvedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Novo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Elvio Cameno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Erik Thorstvedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesareo Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Hervé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Erik Thorstvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boniel Alonso in the 36th minute of play. When Milton Labarra fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético de Candamil's protests and gave Milton Labarra a yellow card for diving instead. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Erik Thorstvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Cameno in the 39th minute of play. Boniel Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Thorstvedt having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Atlético de Candamil's Ladio Cartagena was substituted for Boniel Alonso. The wind increased when Elvio Cameno made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Atlético de Candamil's Elvio Cameno made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Thorstvedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Elvio Cameno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Thorstvedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Calderon in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Atlético de Candamil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ibon Medina to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Novo came free, but Erik Thorstvedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Cameno came free, but Erik Thorstvedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Brent Weeks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 84 minutes into the game, one of Barrikako Herensugeak F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Atlético de Candamil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Medero Nadal in the 87th minute. A nice corner shot did that Medero Nadal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erik Thorstvedt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience cheered when Medero Nadal's long shot passed Erik Thorstvedt's right side. It was 5-0, 87 minutes into the match. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Erik Thorstvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladio Cartagena in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Atlético de Candamil booed when Barrikako Herensugeak F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leizarraga Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Barrikako Herensugeak F.C getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Leizarraga Leal hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Pablo Novo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético de Candamil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Novo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Thorstvedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladio Cartagena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético de Candamil's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
