Bassam Wahbi made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Asdrubal Prieto sent off a good shot on target. Atlético de Sagunto were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after U Alcaravaneras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Asdrubal Prieto took the corner. After taking down the ball on Atlético de Sagunto's corner Asdrubal Prieto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bassam Wahbi quite easily take care of the ball. In the 13th minute of the match U Alcaravaneras got a corner. Atlético de Sagunto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pan Yan Yu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kaine Kirby was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jacobo Ponte made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pan Yan Yu however managed to control. U Alcaravaneras's attentive Kaine Kirby managed to snatch the ball when Apolinar Figueroa made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. In the 21st minute Lionel Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bassam Wahbi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asdrubal Prieto in the 23rd minute. If Eliseo Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, U Alcaravaneras's goal looked a bit too open when Asdrubal Prieto came free, but Bassam Wahbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Atlético de Sagunto getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marc Cucurull hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Pan Yan Yu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zenon Suarez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Lionel Ronaldo made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Ponte made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Arano. 59 minutes into the match, Atlético de Sagunto's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Arano came free, but Zenon Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in U Alcaravaneras's zone, Goren Baños stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bassam Wahbi came out of the goal and Goren Baños tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to U Alcaravaneras getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Tayfur Torkal hit a great ball. Zenon Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Ronaldo in the 68th minute of the match. U Alcaravaneras's Lionel Ronaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. U Alcaravaneras's Ceandro Castillo was substituted for Lionel Ronaldo. In the 75th match minute, Atlético de Sagunto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goren Baños to maneuver through the defense. Goren Baños took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bassam Wahbi. Bassam Wahbi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 84th minute of the match, Ceandro Castillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zenon Suarez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, U Alcaravaneras's Tayfur Torkal got a free kick in the 85th minute. When U Alcaravaneras's Eliseo Arano in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético de Sagunto's goalie prevented a goal.
