An unexpectedly hard shot by Xepe Cañadas in the 9th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jacinto Cuadrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beltxe Balboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Amorebieta in the 11th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Pinturas Coronado's Ulryk Barowicz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Cuadrado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Napier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Beltxe Balboa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Amorebieta in the 26th minute of play forced Pinturas Coronado's goalkeeper Beltxe Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Amorebietas short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Beltxe Balboa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A nice corner shot did that Rainerio Obis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Beltxe Balboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Beltxe Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Amorebieta in the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Napier got free with Beltxe Balboa in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Cuadrado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulryk Barowicz went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Bengt Persson took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Cuadrado. Jacinto Cuadrado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinturas Coronado's goalkeeper Beltxe Balboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Válbson Paes took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Beltxe Balboa to make any attempt to save it. Bengt Persson charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt Persson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Pinturas Coronado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Persson to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell C.J. Sharp to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Ulryk Barowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Cuadrado. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulryk Barowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After 96 minutes, Rolando Amorebieta made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Pinturas Coronado's Beltxe Balboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pinturas Coronado walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
