After having played for 51 minutes, Xano De Paula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xano De Paula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Boca Juniors's Edgar Badia threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rainerio Obis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jacinto Cuadrado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Göktuğ Sulasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Edgar Badia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VAR is coming's M. Agus De Almeida was substituted for Rubén Litago. Agus De Almeida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Cuadrado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Boca Juniors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
