Patrik Konsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sergio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 郑誉真, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Sergio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Konsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Agulescu in the 15th minute of play forced April 25 SC's goalkeeper Sergio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Konsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Romero having to interfere. Santiago Cañizares was a little too slow when Ren Xi Chen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 24thth minute of the game 郑誉真 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but April 25 SC's Sergio Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Konsel came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Konsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to April 25 SC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Antoni Augustyn hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ren Xi Chen was the one to do the kick off. Ren Xi Chen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergio Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by 郑誉真 in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Agulescu came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. April 25 SC's Ren Xi Chen got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Nueva Chicago players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
