Leroy Antunez scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixten Nordström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. amando iglesias were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after A.D. Alcorcón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nestor Gonzáles took the corner. amando iglesias's Nestor Gonzáles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maurino Serena in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Luis Salazar in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurino Serena saved A.D. Alcorcón from getting behind. Belo Alvarez took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixten Nordström. Sixten Nordström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 39th minute, Leroy Antunez made a precise shot to the right of Sixten Nordström. amando iglesias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Maurino Serena made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Nestor Gonzáles sent off a good shot on target. Sixten Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leroy Antunez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belo Alvarez to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, A.D. Alcorcón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bingen Campos to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes amando iglesias got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Øien. Belo Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 minutes, Nestor Gonzáles made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute Leroy Antunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, amando iglesias's Sixten Nordström got control of the ball when Leroy Antunez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manolo Bacete got free with Sixten Nordström in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alcorcón's Sixten Nordström threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leroy Antunez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 82 minutes into the match, amando iglesias's Nestor Gonzáles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurino Serena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sixten Nordström. Sixten Nordström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. A.D. Alcorcón's Isaac Ortiz was substituted for Belo Alvarez. Sixten Nordström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leroy Antunez in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Proença came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Proença in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Aycan Hidayet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Manolo Bacete, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sixten Nordström was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the match was over A.D. Alcorcón could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than amando iglesias throughout the match.
