Calaflores FC.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Marin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Calaflores FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Turrilla came free, but Víctor Valdés reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Calaflores FC.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vinicio Turrilla was slow to take the kick. During this time Salelles's players had a chance to rest. Coronel Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Truylos Bernal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Calaflores FC.'s Manuel Zubiaga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Truylos Bernal. Truylos Bernal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Víctor Valdés took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Turrilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Salelles's Cedro Huguet got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Víctor Valdés made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Marin in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Coronel Paredes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Truylos Bernal. The goal made the score 2-2. In the 33rdth minute of the game Vinicio Turrilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calaflores FC.'s Víctor Valdés was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Paulino Marin put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Víctor Valdés. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Marin in the 37th minute of play forced Calaflores FC.'s goalkeeper Víctor Valdés to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paulino Marin fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salelles's protests and gave Paulino Marin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Salelles's Paulino Marin got a free kick in the 39th minute. Paulino Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Víctor Valdés made a huge save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
