Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Vintilă Ghițulescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Sporting Burgas's Vintilă Ghițulescu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The throw-in from Mac Aron in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Club Celta de Vigo's Calisto Camacho. A collision led to Sporting Burgas getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Mac Aron hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Guillermo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Ke Xiong Chen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pepe Toxeiro. Real Club Celta de Vigo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ke Xiong Chen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Arias in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Pepe Toxeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vintilă Ghițulescu. Pepe Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davor Šuker in the 32nd minute of play. Álvaro Perpiñán came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Club Celta de Vigo's Everardo Arias. But to his dismay, Everardo Arias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Álvaro Perpiñán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Arias's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro got control of the ball when Ke Xiong Chen tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Everardo Arias came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Real Club Celta de Vigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Arias couldn't finish the play. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ke Xiong Chen in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ke Xiong Chen in the 47th minute of play forced Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Pepe Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Pepe Toxeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ke Xiong Chen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pepe Toxeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ke Xiong Chen, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Everardo Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Perpiñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Arias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Perpiñán having to make a save. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Arias in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Davor Šuker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Toxeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Sporting Burgas's Davor Šuker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepe Toxeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Sporting Burgas's Antonio Fioriti was substituted for Vintilă Ghițulescu. A collision led to Sporting Burgas getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Miroslaw Piglowski hit a great ball. Real Club Celta de Vigo's attentive Calisto Camacho managed to snatch the ball when Miroslaw Piglowski made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. Pepe Toxeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ke Xiong Chen in the 78th minute of the match. Everardo Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pepe Toxeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ke Xiong Chen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pepe Toxeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davor Šuker in the 87th minute of the match. Álvaro Perpiñán didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renato Tapia went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sporting Burgas had played much better football throughout.
