The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lico Tarin in the 4th minute of play forced Nueva Adalucia's goalkeeper Larpe Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, ATLETAS FC's Lico Tarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Larpe Cabrera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Simuţ in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Nueva Adalucia getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Juvenal Soler hit a great ball. Carter Musacchio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Larpe Cabrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Larpe Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lico Tarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ATLETAS FC's Bedir Erdönmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Alcaraz in the 20th minute of play. Larpe Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lico Tarin in the 24th minute of play. Alvito Helguera hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Nueva Adalucia's goal looked a bit too open when Lico Tarin came free, but Larpe Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match ATLETAS FC got a corner. Nueva Adalucia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Haroldo Gibert ran over to the corner to take the kick. Haroldo Gibert made a great header on ATLETAS FC's corner, it was just that Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera managed to reach the ball for a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvito Helguera to make the kick off. With a little luck, Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera got control of the ball when Lico Tarin tried to sneak it across the goal line. ATLETAS FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Nueva Adalucia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Haroldo Gibert took the corner. Erubiel Madaleno hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Nueva Adalucia's Cordarin Velazquez was substituted for Manel Sans. The supporters of Nueva Adalucia booed when ATLETAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Madaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andoitz Cartagena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bedir Erdönmez. ATLETAS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nueva Adalucia's Sol Rajoi was substituted for Murat Oberlack. 倪烨默 made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Erubiel Madaleno. Larpe Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eutropio Turienzo in the 72nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on ATLETAS FC's corner Haroldo Gibert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Larpe Cabrera quite easily take care of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Eutropio Turienzo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera. Larpe Cabrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The corner ended in Haroldo Gibert almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera did a great save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ATLETAS FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
