Angelino Lawrence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natal Quintanilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The audience was convinced that Frechoso Molina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Lawrence was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Natal Quintanilla made the kick off in the second half. When Walery Roman fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored la Conarda C.F.'s protests and gave Walery Roman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Velez-Malaga booed when la Conarda C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Roman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ritchie Pastor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Crescencio Guijarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walery Roman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Angelino Lawrence came out and tried to block the shot, but Walery Roman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 55th minute. Crescencio Guijarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ritchie Pastor having to interfere. Angelino Lawrence was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frechoso Molina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Velez-Malaga's goal looked a bit too open when Frechoso Molina came free, but Angelino Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to la Conarda C.F. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Argi Gomar hit a great ball. la Conarda C.F.'s Quirce Cano was substituted for Walery Roman. 74 minutes into the match, Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper Angelino Lawrence had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quirce Cano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Matxin in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ritchie Pastor saved la Conarda C.F. from getting behind. Velez-Malaga were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after la Conarda C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zachariasz Haskiewicz took the corner. The corner ended in Xian Vacas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but la Conarda C.F.'s Ritchie Pastor did a great save. Quirce Cano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Lawrence having to interfere. Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natal Quintanilla in the 83rd minute of play. Emeterio Aznar's late challenge caught a la Conarda C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emeterio Aznar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Velez-Malaga's Emeterio Aznar got a free kick in the 87th minute. Quirce Cano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Angelino Lawrence made a huge save. la Conarda C.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frechoso Molina in the 89th minute. Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natal Quintanilla in the 93rd minute of play. Zachariasz Haskiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Velez-Malaga's zone, Frechoso Molina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Lawrence came out of the goal and Frechoso Molina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. la Conarda C.F. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
