Barea Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andy Entrena in the 6th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as David Batuhin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Barea Martinez. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. A collision led to Sobrecastell UD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gaizka Bermudez hit a great ball. If Andy Entrena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaizka Bermudez charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaizka Bermudez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cuatrodeocho booed when Sobrecastell UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaizka Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Batuhin in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barea Martinez saved Sobrecastell UD from getting behind. Barea Martinez stood somewhat misplaced when David Batuhin came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. When Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sobrecastell UD's goalie prevented a goal. Gaizka Bermudez hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Barea Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Batuhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Cuatrodeocho were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Sobrecastell UD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andy Entrena took the corner. Andy Entrena made a great header on Cuatrodeocho's corner, it was just that Sobrecastell UD's Barea Martinez managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Batuhin in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barea Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute of the match Cuatrodeocho got a corner. Sobrecastell UD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andy Entrena ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Andy Entrena advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 30th minute. David Batuhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sobrecastell UD! Sobrecastell UD:s Barea Martinez showed great skill when he stopped David Batuhin:s penalty. Gaizka Bermudez hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Barea Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Batuhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sobrecastell UD's zone, David Batuhin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barea Martinez came out of the goal and David Batuhin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Iván Vila made the kick off in the second half. Cuatrodeocho's Eraldo Berardini was substituted for Kaan Ayhan. Gaizka Bermudez got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Telesforo Casas. 66 minutes into the match, David Batuhin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barea Martinez. Sobrecastell UD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Batuhin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Barea Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Batuhin in the 69th minute of play. When Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sobrecastell UD's goalie prevented a goal. Richie Vagrande kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, David Batuhin made a precise shot to the right of Barea Martinez. Sobrecastell UD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After some careless play in the Sobrecastell UD defense, David Batuhin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barea Martinez. The Sobrecastell UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barea Martinez should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute Cuatrodeocho were awarded a corner. Andy Entrena went to the cornerflag to take it. Sobrecastell UD's Barea Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Villafane in the 84th minute of play. Barea Martinez came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Cuatrodeocho's Iván Villafane. But to his dismay, Iván Villafane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Barea Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván Villafane, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cuatrodeocho fully deserved thier win.
