Steen Müür showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Gustavo Anatibia in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Kevin Newman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Ontembare Leeuwen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Stef Mol fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Ontembare Leeuwen's protests and gave Stef Mol a yellow card for diving instead. 30 minutes into the match, De hijgende Hertjes's Philip de Groot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heiko Som narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Ernest Kleinman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steen Müür was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Steen Müür came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by De Ontembare Leeuwen's Kevin Newman. But to his dismay, Kevin Newman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 43 minutes, Jacco Hoving made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. De hijgende Hertjes's Steen Müür tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Steen Müür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Kleinman, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half De Ontembare Leeuwen were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Philip de Groot to make the kick off. Jacco Hoving struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Steen Müür didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Ontembare Leeuwen. After a rather tough play, De hijgende Hertjes's Ahmet Seyfi Koralp got a free kick in the 55th minute. Steen Müür didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Newman went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. With a little luck, De hijgende Hertjes's Steen Müür got control of the ball when Jacco Hoving tried to sneak it across the goal line. De hijgende Hertjes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Ernest Kleinman scored to the left of an out of position Steen Müür, making the score, 0-7. Jacco Hovings short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Steen Müür to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Jacco Hoving dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. The supporters of De Ontembare Leeuwen booed when De hijgende Hertjes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Seyfi Koralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Kevin Newman made a precise shot to the right of Steen Müür. De hijgende Hertjes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. In the 93rd minute, Jacco Hoving hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
