Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kevin Newman started the match with the kick off. Heiko Som stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Gol's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Heiko Som showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Gol in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Gol in the 7th minute of play forced De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Heiko Som to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 played minutes De Ontembare Leeuwen got a freekick which was hit by Sander Spoel. After a defensive mix-up in De Ontembare Leeuwen's zone, Thiago Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heiko Som came out of the goal and Thiago Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Gol scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heiko Som, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Newman in the 15th minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute of the match De Ontembare Leeuwen got a corner. SCs StarS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Newman ran over to the corner to take the kick. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Kevin Newman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Petr Čech in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Kevin Newman got a free kick in the 20th minute. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Heiko Som played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Gol in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, SCs StarS's Thiago Gol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heiko Som made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of De Ontembare Leeuwen booed when SCs StarS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk Zijden didn't get a good kick on the ball. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Kevin Newman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Petr Čech but with some difficulty. 32 minutes into the game, SCs StarS's Thiago Gol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heiko Som made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Heiko Som came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by SCs StarS's Thiago Gol. But to his dismay, Thiago Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jordy Dirks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Som having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thiago Gol was the one to do the kick off. SCs StarS were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after De Ontembare Leeuwen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florian Hekman took the corner. Thiago Gol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Heiko Som firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thiago Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 57 minutes into the match, De Ontembare Leeuwen's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Gol came free, but Heiko Som reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Thiago Gol got free in front of the goal in the 62nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Heiko Som was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Florian Hekmans short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Heiko Som to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When SCs StarS's Thiago Gol in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Jordy Dirks came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the SCs StarS fans jumped to their feet. Robert de Graaf hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Kevin Newman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SCs StarS's Petr Čech didn't even have to move. When the final whistle sounded SCs StarS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than De Ontembare Leeuwen.
