The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Boukjan van Dongen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Soer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Big Wall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Ostermann in the 12th minute. If Roland Ostermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Heineken Youths's Henk Scholten got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Mosk's Henk Appeldoorn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Big Wall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Heineken Youths's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henk Appeldoorn was slow to take the kick. During this time Mosk's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Henk Appeldoorn got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Big Wall quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mosk's Martin Soer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boukjan van Dongen in the 24th minute of play. If Berry Korevaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Heineken Youths's Big Wall got control of the ball when Roland Ostermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Heineken Youths getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Edgar van Rijswijk hit a great ball. The supporters of Heineken Youths booed when Mosk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berry Korevaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoon Baars in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Big Wall saved Heineken Youths from getting behind. In the 55th minute Mosk were awarded a corner. Henk Appeldoorn went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Heineken Youths getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Heiko Cruijff hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Heineken Youths's goalkeeper Big Wall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Antoon Baars's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Big Wall was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Big Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Ostermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, Heineken Youths was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar van Rijswijk to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Antoon Baars left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mosk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ger Holke in the 75th minute of play forced Heineken Youths's goalkeeper Big Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Big Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoon Baars, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Antoon Baars made a precise shot to the right of Big Wall. Heineken Youths's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antoon Baars in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Big Wall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Strong Body's late challenge caught a Mosk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Strong Body helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Strong Body hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heineken Youths's Big Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Ostermann in the 86th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Heineken Youths's goal looked a bit too open when Berry Korevaar came free, but Big Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Roland Ostermann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mosk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Mosk's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
