In the 8th minute Kelmond S.C. were awarded a corner. Geale Colen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Geale Colen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mosk's Martin Soer did a great save. Jose Azubeli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martin Soer came out and tried to block the shot, but Jose Azubeli slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoon Baars in the 16th minute of play forced Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Pedrão Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Antoon Baars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Roland Ostermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mosk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Ostermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mosk booed when Kelmond S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henny de Winter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrão Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Ostermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Mosk were awarded a corner. Henk Appeldoorn went to the cornerflag to take it. Mosk's Jan-Peter Heuving was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedrão Sarmento in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pedrão Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berry Korevaar in the 30th minute of play. Pedrão Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berry Korevaar in the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th minute Roland Ostermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Kelmond S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antoon Baars came free, but Pedrão Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kelmond S.C.'s Carlo van Dijk got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Mosk's Martin Soer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martien Sandstra in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerrit Hooiveld to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kelmond S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Berry Korevaar came free, but Pedrão Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kelmond S.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jose Azubeli hit a great ball. Pedrão Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoon Baars, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With an all-out effort, Mosk's Pedrão Sarmento threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Berry Korevaar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Ostermann during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Kelmond S.C.'s Pedrão Sarmento got control of the ball when Roland Ostermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedrão Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ger Holke in the 75th minute of play. Kelmond S.C.'s Pedrão Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Kelmond S.C. from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Kelmond S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antoon Baars came free, but Pedrão Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
