Mijdrecht Maffia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Kjellman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when Mijdrecht Maffia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Plescher didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Marick Brunt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mirko Vervoort quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 13 minutes Mijdrecht Maffia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marick Brunt who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Bal op het Dak's corner Marick Brunt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mirko Vervoort quite easily take care of the ball. Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Kjellman in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Mijdrecht Maffia's 西门 亮 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harvey Davies made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dan Kjellman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mirko Vervoort read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Juvenal Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Kjellman scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mirko Vervoort, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mirko Vervoort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Kjellman in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Shaq Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirko Vervoort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Joop Meder replaced Shaq Francis. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Kjellman to make the kick off. Harvey Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Wessel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Bal op het Dak's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kurt Holthuis ran over to the corner to take the kick. 83 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Mirko Vervoort had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Kjellman. In the 93rd match minute, FC Bal op het Dak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John-Paul Locatelli to maneuver through the defense. Harvey Davies stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 西门 亮's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Mirko Vervoort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Vaz in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Bal op het Dak had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
