In the 2nd minute, Emil Kyurpanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Artur Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Robin Boelens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harvey Davies. Robin Boelens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Iustin Hațegan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Harvey Davies made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Dolf Schoonderwoerd put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Harvey Davies. After 28 played minutes FC Bal op het Dak got a freekick which was hit by Artur Mendes. FC Bal op het Dak's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Dolf Schoonderwoerd scored to the left of an out of position Harvey Davies, making the score, 3-0. Dan Kjellman took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Wessel. Jan Wessel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Dan Kjellman managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Kjellman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Wessel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dan Kjellman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Wessel having to make a save. Jan Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Kjellman in the 39th minute of play. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piearres Olalla in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Boelens in the 50th minute of play. After some careless play in the The Underdogs defense, Dan Kjellman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Wessel. The The Underdogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Wessel should have stopped the shot. Dolf Schoonderwoerd's late challenge caught a FC Bal op het Dak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dolf Schoonderwoerd helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Dolf Schoonderwoerd. FC Bal op het Dak's Joop Bakker was substituted for Shaq Francis. In the 60th minute FC Bal op het Dak were awarded a corner. Marick Brunt went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Bal op het Dak's corner Marick Brunt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan Wessel quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Hațegan in the 69th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Harvey Davies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joop Bakker in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the The Underdogs defense, Joop Bakker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Wessel. The The Underdogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Wessel should have stopped the shot. Harvey Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Hațegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustin Hațegan in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harvey Davies saved FC Bal op het Dak from getting behind. After a rather tough play, The Underdogs's Ed Palsma got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th match minute, FC Bal op het Dak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martijn August to maneuver through the defense.
