Dorpshaven's Dave Ostermann was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dave Ostermann scored 4-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bill Ridder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 33 minutes, Bernard Theunissen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Springplank FC and the Dorpshaven players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Springplank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Theunissen to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Dorpshaven's Bill Ridder threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joakim Olsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 36 minutes into the game, Dorpshaven's Gertjan Hardering nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bill Ridder came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Dorpshaven's Dave Ostermann. But to his dismay, Dave Ostermann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joakim Olsson made a kick off. Damien Roetering took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bill Ridder. Bill Ridder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Springplank FC's Bill Ridder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Olsson in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Gertjan Hardering had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bill Ridder. Springplank FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gertjan Hardering was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. 64 minutes into the game, Joakim Olsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Bill Ridder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bill Ridder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Olsson in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Dave Ostermann made a precise shot to the right of Bill Ridder. Springplank FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. Bill Ridder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Olsson in the 72nd minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Dorpshaven's Franck Akkerman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bill Ridder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. A collision led to Springplank FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bernard Theunissen hit a great ball. Bill Ridder came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dorpshaven's Joakim Olsson. But to his dismay, Joakim Olsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 18-0. Bill Ridder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Ostermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bill Ridder came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Dorpshaven's Joakim Olsson. But to his dismay, Joakim Olsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 19-0.
