Leendert Borg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Dobrowski's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Albertus FC's Warman de Jager nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Simons made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martijn Jol came free, but Leendert Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Dorpshaven's Martijn Jol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When Martijn Jol came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Dorpshaven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martijn Jol couldn't finish the play. Leendert Borg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damien Roetering went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Damien Roetering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leendert Borg made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Franck Akkerman sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Alfred Dobrowski notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Albertus FC's Leendert Borg. Leendert Borg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leendert Borg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Jol in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Edgar Merenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 33 minutes on the clock, Pieter Theissen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 32 minutes into the game, one of Albertus FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.
