After 9 minutes of play, Revenge's Berend Hermensen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Beerthuis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex de Rudder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksandr Vasyutin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Revenge's Filippo Inzaghi got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Revenge's Aleksandr Vasyutin got control of the ball when Alex de Rudder tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Berend Hermensen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Revenge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, one of Revenge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Winthont FC's Filip Bennink got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aleksandr Vasyutin. Aleksandr Vasyutin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Tevreden, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Alex de Rudder made a precise shot to the right of Aleksandr Vasyutin. Revenge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berend Hermensen in the 35th minute of play. Alex de Rudder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksandr Vasyutin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Jan Buys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Beerthuis having to interfere. Filip Bennink kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Berend Hermensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aleksandr Vasyutin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex de Rudder in the 44th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Tevreden during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jan Tevreden hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Jan Buys shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dennis Beerthuis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aleksandr Vasyutin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex de Rudder's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Filippo Inzaghi made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Berend Hermensen came free, but Dennis Beerthuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kees Koole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kees Koole. 57 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Inzaghi came free, but Dennis Beerthuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Winthont FC made a substitution. Kadim Argun replaced Alex de Rudder. A sloppy throw-in by Jan Buys in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Winthont FC's Jan Tevreden. The supporters of Revenge booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip Bennink hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Dennis Beerthuis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Berend Hermensen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kadim Argun in the 77th minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Aleksandr Vasyutin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Revenge's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Berend Hermensen in the 80th minute. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when Revenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kees Koole didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilco Willemse in the 89th minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Jacobus Lubbers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Aleksandr Vasyutin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
