The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bjorn Panter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex de Rudder, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 10th minute Ger Mols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex de Rudder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex de Rudder in the 15th minute of play forced The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Bjorn Panter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Jacobus Lubbers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bjorn Panter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bjorn Panter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex de Rudder, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Bjorn Panter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Dennis Beerthuis was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Ger Mols capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ger Mols really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Bjorn Panter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex de Rudder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex de Rudder took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bjorn Panter. Bjorn Panter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The supporters of The Dalwhinnie Boys booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Bennink didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Alex de Rudder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bjorn Panter. The Dalwhinnie Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex de Rudder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobus Lubbers made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex de Rudder in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bjorn Panter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Norino hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Jacobus Lubbers kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Alex de Rudder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winthont FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. With his leg Bjorn Panter managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Winthont FC's Alex de Rudder fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 66th minute Alex de Rudder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bjorn Panter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Alex de Rudder notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of The Dalwhinnie Boys's Bjorn Panter. Bjorn Panter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71stth minute of the game Alex de Rudder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Dalwhinnie Boys's Bjorn Panter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Alex de Rudder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bjorn Panter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex de Rudder in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Alex de Rudder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bjorn Panter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Alex de Rudder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winthont FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. Cristian Norino struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Bjorn Panter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winthont FC. When Jorn Rolink fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Dalwhinnie Boys's protests and gave Jorn Rolink a yellow card for diving instead. Jorn Rolink hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Bjorn Panter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex de Rudder. Winthont FC played a much better game than The Dalwhinnie Boys and deserved their victory. The The Dalwhinnie Boys players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
