After some careless play in the Flashdynamica defense, Wilfried Westerhof kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meindert Janus. The Flashdynamica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meindert Janus should have stopped the shot. Meindert Janus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sébastien Haller in the 9th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maju Gigante in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meindert Janus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Dwight Schrute had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artemio Domenech. Boca Gregorian Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dwight Schrute was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 28th minute Maju Gigante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meindert Janus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Domenech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavi Simons in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Hans-Cees Dirks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Gregorian Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Boca Gregorian Juniors's Artemio Domenech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Gregorian Juniors from getting a goal against them. Artemio Domenech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dwight Schrute in the 39th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Sébastien Haller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Gregorian Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sébastien Haller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boca Gregorian Juniors's Johannes Boon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wim Robben in the 46 minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dwight Schrute to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maju Gigante in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Meindert Janus saved Flashdynamica from getting behind. Flashdynamica's Meindert Janus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maju Gigante in the 58th minute of play. Maju Gigante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Meindert Janus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Boca Gregorian Juniors booed when Flashdynamica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Robben didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Gregorian Juniors's Maju Gigante was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 64th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Artemio Domenech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Scott in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Boca Gregorian Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Dwight Schrute came free, but Artemio Domenech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meindert Janus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maju Gigante showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 79 minute of play. Boca Gregorian Juniors's Demy Salens was substituted for Wilfried Westerhof. Boca Gregorian Juniors's Lucjan Zurawski was substituted for Maju Gigante. The Flashdynamica supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Boca Gregorian Juniors's performance. The match ended with a win for Boca Gregorian Juniors.
