Wilfried Wiersma made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by S.C. Potentia's Erik Rensenbrink. In the 11thth minute of the game Kristján Kipper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MK Investments's Peter Oldenborger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Kristján Kipper put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Peter Oldenborger. Mathijs Tevreden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Poremba, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. S.C. Potentia's attentive Erik Rensenbrink managed to snatch the ball when Wilfried Wiersma made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. Mathijs Tevreden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenik Hoffhuis in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Kristján Kipper made a precise shot to the right of Peter Oldenborger. MK Investments's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Pascal Bults managed to get in a good position for a shot. MK Investments's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascal Bults was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Potentia's Mathijs Tevreden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibau De Jaeger in the 78th minute of play. Peter Oldenborger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristján Kipper in the 80th minute of play. Kristján Kipper struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Peter Oldenborger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C. Potentia. Wilfried Wiersma kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to S.C. Potentia getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Marian Tufescu hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Jos van Rijswijk in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by S.C. Potentia's Erik Rensenbrink. Kristján Kipper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Peter Oldenborger made a huge save. Roman Pitin was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, S.C. Potentia's Roman Pitin got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waclaw Poremba in the 91st minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Mathijs Tevreden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of S.C. Potentia were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant MK Investments side.
