Michel Luz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aílton Fernandez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tom Daamen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Servet Akburç in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Juliane Rúsin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aílton Fernandez. AVV Zeeburgia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juliane Rúsin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Boca Juniors's Tom Daamen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xiao Chang Chao in the 16th minute of play. Tom Daamen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servet Akburç in the 19th minute of play. Tom Daamen came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by AVV Zeeburgia's Servet Akburç. But to his dismay, Servet Akburç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 24 minutes, Servet Akburç made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Boca Juniors's Tom Daamen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of AVV Zeeburgia booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk-Jan Weinands didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 28 minutes on the clock, Xayveon Orsini commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 35th minute Michel Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute AVV Zeeburgia were awarded a corner. Servet Akburç went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Luz got free with Aílton Fernandez in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, AVV Zeeburgia's goalkeeper Aílton Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Luz. In the 46th minute, Boca Juniors's Henk-Jan Weinands ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aílton Fernandez. Aílton Fernandez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xiao Chang Chao to strike the kick off in the second half. AVV Zeeburgia's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliane Rúsin in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Boca Juniors were awarded a corner. Juliane Rúsin went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Henk-Jan Weinands sped through AVV Zeeburgia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aílton Fernandez. When Gong Jian Jing came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the AVV Zeeburgia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gong Jian Jing couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Luz in the 59th minute of play forced AVV Zeeburgia's goalkeeper Aílton Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurel Gârleanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Tom Daamen made a huge save. AVV Zeeburgia's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliane Rúsin in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Tom Daamen got control of the ball when Aurel Gârleanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boca Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tom Daamen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xiao Chang Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
