Aad Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huub Gerrits in the 3rd minute of the match. FC Kirchroa's Aad Zoethout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huub Gerrits in the 3rd minute of play. De Pelgrims's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fu Peng Feng in the 5th minute. It was a well-played corner which Jan-Peter Kloppenburg managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With an all-out effort, FC Kirchroa's Mike Zoetmulder threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ramon María Quintana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 14 played minutes FC Kirchroa got a freekick which was hit by Nikola Milenković. Mike Zoetmulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon María Quintana, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Aad Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Dante Martinelli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Mike Zoetmulder skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 32nd minute Flavius Pantea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Zoetmulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon María Quintana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When De Pelgrims's Perivaldo Eger in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kirchroa's goalie prevented a goal. After 36 minutes, Perivaldo Eger made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save De Pelgrims from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd match minute, FC Kirchroa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Lembeck to maneuver through the defense. The FC Kirchroa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De Pelgrims were winning 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Perivaldo Eger to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Kirchroa's goal looked a bit too open when Huub Gerrits came free, but Aad Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike Zoetmulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriaan van Schaik, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon María Quintana in the 60th minute of play. After taking down the ball on De Pelgrims's corner Perivaldo Eger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aad Zoethout quite easily take care of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Aad Zoethout successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Kirchroa's Aad Zoethout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC Kirchroa from getting a goal against them. Aad Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huub Gerrits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Aad Zoethout managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when De Pelgrims's Perivaldo Eger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Perivaldo Egers short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Aad Zoethout to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Pantea in the 77th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Huub Gerrits recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aad Zoethout. Huub Gerrits showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Aad Zoethout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias de Ruijter in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Erben Roelofs. In the 86th match minute, De Pelgrims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erben Roelofs to maneuver through the defense. Mike Zoetmulder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thijs Nelissen in the 87th minute of the match. Aad Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias de Ruijter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mike Zoetmulder came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kirchroa's Thijs Nelissen. But to his dismay, Thijs Nelissen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The FC Kirchroa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. De Pelgrims were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
