With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriaan van Schaik in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Hilhorst saved Verwachting from getting behind. Ramon María Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriaan van Schaik in the 11th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Hilhorst came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kirchroa's Adriaan van Schaik. But to his dismay, Adriaan van Schaik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nikola Milenković hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Pantea came free, but Herbert Hilhorst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Ramon María Quintana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Herbert Hilhorst quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Matthijs Meerdink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Twan Hesseling in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Pantea came free, but Herbert Hilhorst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Verwachting's Matthijs Meerdink threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Twan Hesseling, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FC Kirchroa's Matthijs Meerdink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Twan Hesseling in the 38th minute of play. Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Martinelli in the 39th minute of play. FC Kirchroa's Matthijs Meerdink proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Kirchroa from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Adriaan Kuypers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthijs Meerdink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th play minute Christijan Schreuder came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Matthijs Meerdink. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 50th minute, FC Kirchroa's Flavius Pantea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Nikola Milenković put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, FC Kirchroa's Nikola Milenković got a free kick in the 56th minute. Matthijs Meerdink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriaan Kuypers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, FC Kirchroa's Flavius Pantea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Hilhorst narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christijan Schreuder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Matthijs Meerdink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Wawrzyniec Gondela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Hilhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthijs Meerdink came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Verwachting's Twan Hesseling. But to his dismay, Twan Hesseling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 78 minutes into the match, FC Kirchroa's goal looked a bit too open when Twan Hesseling came free, but Matthijs Meerdink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, FC Kirchroa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Martinelli to maneuver through the defense. Matthijs Meerdink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruud Geels, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Twan Hesseling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kirchroa's Matthijs Meerdink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Kirchroa's Matthijs Meerdink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Twan Hesseling in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of FC Kirchroa booed when Verwachting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Bulder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Hilhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavius Pantea, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Kirchroa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
