Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valio Tammisto started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Westenenk getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gervasio Lauaxeta hit a great ball. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Pello in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Leiden Spor Kulubu booed when Westenenk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Pello in the 24th minute of play forced Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Leiden Spor Kulubu's Billy Châtelet to fire away a dangerous shot which Jaap van der Schans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Leiden Spor Kulubu's goalkeeper Harry Mik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Posadzki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberth Gosmann in the 31st minute of play forced Leiden Spor Kulubu's goalkeeper Harry Mik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Mik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberth Gosmann in the 32nd minute. Valio Tammisto struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Harry Mik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westenenk. 40 minutes into the match, Westenenk's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Pello came free, but Jaap van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberth Gosmann got free with Harry Mik in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Pello made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Hector Pello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leiden Spor Kulubu's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Pello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaap van der Schans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harry Mik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberth Gosmann in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Alberth Gosmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Mik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aktaç Tansan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Harry Mik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 石渊文 kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Harry Mik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valio Tammisto in the 58th minute of the match. Hector Pello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaap van der Schans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Leiden Spor Kulubu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Billy Châtelet in the 63rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Billy Châtelet got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jaap van der Schans quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valio Tammisto in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Leiden Spor Kulubu's goal looked a bit too open when Valio Tammisto came free, but Harry Mik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Joost de Zaaijer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jaap van der Schans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute Wieslaw Posadzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Mik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaap van der Schans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberth Gosmann in the 82nd minute of play forced Leiden Spor Kulubu's goalkeeper Harry Mik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Lauaxeta took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harry Mik. Harry Mik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
