Huub Gerrits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Lembeck came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by De Pelgrims's Perivaldo Eger. But to his dismay, Perivaldo Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Huub Gerrits took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Lembeck. Henry Lembeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience was convinced that Huub Gerrits's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Lembeck was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Huub Gerrits took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Lembeck. Henry Lembeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Henry Lembeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias de Ruijter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Montrel Perpiñán was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Pelgrims's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zijdewind SC the free kick. Montrel Perpiñán hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 30th play minutes Perivaldo Eger shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Henry Lembeck and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 33rd minute, Zé Pedro Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Lembeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias de Ruijter, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the Zijdewind SC defense, Perivaldo Eger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Lembeck. The Zijdewind SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Lembeck should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Zijdewind SC booed when De Pelgrims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias de Ruijter didn't get a good kick on the ball. De Pelgrims's Erben Roelofs pulled a muscle in his back after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. De Pelgrims's Jordi Meijer was substituted for Erben Roelofs. After 46 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdi Dekens. After 47 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Luuk Meppelink. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Henry Lembeck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Perivaldo Eger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henry Lembeck made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mathias de Ruijter sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 54 in the game by Perivaldo Eger from a close distance when the talented Henry Lembeck managed to make a qualified save. Zijdewind SC's players were relieved. In the 57th minute, Gerard Kok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 minutes, Perivaldo Eger made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Zijdewind SC's Henry Lembeck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mathias de Ruijter kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, De Pelgrims's Mathias de Ruijter made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Lembeck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Perivaldo Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Henry Lembeck made a huge save. In the 69thth minute of the game Huub Gerrits who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zijdewind SC's Henry Lembeck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henry Lembeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huub Gerrits in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Zijdewind SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk-Jan Slot to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 73 minutes, Perivaldo Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Pelgrims's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perivaldo Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, De Pelgrims's Perivaldo Eger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henry Lembeck. Henry Lembeck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Perivaldo Eger got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Zijdewind SC's Henry Lembeck got control of the ball when Perivaldo Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Montrel Perpiñán in the 83rd minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Henry Lembeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Lembeck came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by De Pelgrims's Perivaldo Eger. But to his dismay, Perivaldo Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. The De Pelgrims fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when De Pelgrims's Perivaldo Eger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match was over De Pelgrims could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zijdewind SC throughout the match.
