After 25 played minutes Leiden Spor Kulubu got a freekick which was hit by Zhao Yuan Xing. Perivaldo Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herman Craandijk made in the 29th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jan-Peter Kloppenburg however managed to control. If Mathias de Ruijter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Eger in the 32nd minute of play forced Leiden Spor Kulubu's goalkeeper Harry Mik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Mathias de Ruijter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harry Mik. The audience was convinced that Hector Pello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mike Zoetmulder was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Hector Pello struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Mike Zoetmulder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leiden Spor Kulubu. After 78 minutes Leiden Spor Kulubu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fu Peng Feng who took care of the corner kick. Otto Krol charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otto Krol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Leiden Spor Kulubu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of De Pelgrims:s goal. If Perivaldo Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, De Pelgrims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montrel Perpiñán to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Billy Châtelet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded De Pelgrims left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Leiden Spor Kulubu.
