Mario Klompe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavius Pantea went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Zijdewind SC defense, Dante Martinelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Klompe. The Zijdewind SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Klompe should have stopped the shot. Mario Klompe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriaan van Schaik in the 12th minute of play. Mario Klompe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Martinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ramon María Quintana charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mario Klompe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavius Pantea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Kirchroa booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniël De Leeuw didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Martinelli in the 62nd minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Mario Klompe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zijdewind SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Adriaan van Schaik scored to the left of an out of position Mario Klompe, making the score, 0-7. In the 67th minute, Adriaan van Schaik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Klompe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. With a little luck, Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe got control of the ball when Flavius Pantea tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Kirchroa getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Yağız Kartay hit a great ball. Mario Klompe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriaan van Schaik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Klompe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Martinelli's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Adriaan van Schaik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Mario Klompe made a huge save. Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Zijdewind SC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Martinelli in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Klompe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Ramon María Quintana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kirchroa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. FC Kirchroa's Thijs Nelissen was substituted for Adriaan van Schaik. When the match was over FC Kirchroa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zijdewind SC throughout the match.
