Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Zijdewind SC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christijan Schreuder in the 8th minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Mario Klompe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Klompe was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Christijan Schreuder capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christijan Schreuder really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Twan Hesselings short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Mario Klompe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adriaan Kuypers was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Oliver van Kampen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Klompe having to interfere. Mario Klompe was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Twan Hesseling capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Twan Hesseling really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Verwachting's Phoenix Soare quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henk Zaagman, made in the 31st minute of the game. Adriaan Kuypers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Mario Klompe made a huge save. Mario Klompe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Twan Hesseling in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Zijdewind SC defense, Twan Hesseling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Klompe. The Zijdewind SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Klompe should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute Twan Hesseling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Klompe didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Verwachting's Twan Hesseling shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Mario Klompe was a little too slow when Twan Hesseling got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Twan Hesseling made a kick off. Verwachting's Phoenix Soare managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Henk Zaagman in the 58 minute of the game. After 59th play minutes Twan Hesseling shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Mario Klompe and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Twan Hesseling in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Klompe saved Zijdewind SC from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Christijan Schreuder came free, but Mario Klompe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Twan Hesseling in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Klompe saved Zijdewind SC from getting behind. When Verwachting's Twan Hesseling, in the 66th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Verwachting. In the 68th minute Twan Hesseling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Twan Hesseling made a precise shot to the right of Mario Klompe. Zijdewind SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Mario Klompe came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Verwachting's Twan Hesseling. But to his dismay, Twan Hesseling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. 87 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Christijan Schreuder came free, but Mario Klompe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henk Zaagman made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arjan van Zijp immediately put the ball in play. Verwachting walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
