The referee showed Tytus Grabski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 43 played minutes De Digitale Dribbelaars got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Grabski. A sloppy throw-in by Mustafa Barış Tekindağ in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by De Digitale Dribbelaars's Reinhard Alards. A collision led to De Digitale Dribbelaars getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Reinhard Alards hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pascal Vledder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerwin Aerts in the 56th minute of play. Mustafa Barış Tekindağ made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Victor Ixona immediately put the ball in play. Tytus Grabski was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of De Digitale Dribbelaars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Osdorp FC:s goal. Pascal Vledder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Jokiranta in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Kristof Klompe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Osdorp FC booed when De Digitale Dribbelaars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasper Schildkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball.
