Pascal Vledder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacco Klijnstra in the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bierunese's goalkeeper Werner Kamps, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pascal Vledder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Arnolds in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kristof Klompe made the kick off in the second half. Pascal Vledder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Arnolds, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Bierunese's much stronger midfield.
