When Cristóvão Valle fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal Knights FC's protests and gave Cristóvão Valle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Barnaba Kolba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Maciejewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Callegari's Jânio Loureiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Maciejewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Barnaba Kolba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Royal Knights FC's Artur Maciejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Kolba in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Royal Knights FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Maurinho Tróia hit a great ball. If Jânio Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Royal Knights FC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Volante. 40 minutes into the match, Barnaba Kolba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Maciejewski. Royal Knights FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnaba Kolba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Barnaba Kolba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Maciejewski having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, Royal Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Kolba came free, but Artur Maciejewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Valle to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Barnaba Kolba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Maciejewski was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute Callegari were awarded a corner. Barnaba Kolba went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 64th minute Barnaba Kolba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Maciejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Callegari's Taco Van Der Hoorn was substituted for Barnaba Kolba. Callegari's Luís Fernando Laguna was substituted for Grigoris Gavril. 67 minutes into the match, Callegari's goalkeeper Rubinho Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Geerts. 71 minutes into the match, Taco Van Der Hoorn notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Royal Knights FC's Artur Maciejewski. Artur Maciejewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Taco Van Der Hoorn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute Taco Van Der Hoorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Maciejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Royal Knights FC's Artur Maciejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 75th minute of play. Artur Maciejewski came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Callegari's Taco Van Der Hoorn. But to his dismay, Taco Van Der Hoorn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 87 minutes into the match, Taco Van Der Hoorn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Maciejewski. Royal Knights FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taco Van Der Hoorn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Artur Maciejewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taco Van Der Hoorn went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. In the 97th match minute, Callegari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Isusko to maneuver through the defense. Callegari's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
