William Fagrell was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Rafinha Gonçalves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafinha Gonçalves really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Olympique Deleon getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cacá Prestes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginaldo Teixeira in the 10th minute of play forced Olympique Deleon's goalkeeper William Fagrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg William Fagrell managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when S.E. Cachoeirinha's Reginaldo Teixeira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ismael de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Deleon's Dario Scoca. But to his dismay, Dario Scoca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 22nd minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Dalmo Peixoto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dalmo Peixoto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of S.E. Cachoeirinha protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dalmo Peixoto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ismael de Carvalho had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Mats Hummels's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Reginaldo Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Cachoeirinha's protests and gave Reginaldo Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Reginaldo Teixeira got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute Dedé Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Dedé Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedé Figueiredo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael de Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedé Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. Ismael de Carvalho was a little too slow when Dedé Figueiredo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Deleon's zone, Reginaldo Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Fagrell came out of the goal and Reginaldo Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Fabinho Vinhas hit a great ball. Dedé Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ismael de Carvalho made a huge save. 66 minutes into the game, Tiaguinho de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique Deleon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E. Cachoeirinha the free kick. A collision led to Olympique Deleon getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Tiaguinho de Carvalho hit a great ball. If Reginaldo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, one of S.E. Cachoeirinha:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for S.E. Cachoeirinha. After 77 minutes of play, Olympique Deleon's Dedé Figueiredo made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael de Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Olympique Deleon booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dedé Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ismael de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique Deleon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Dahlberg in the 83rd minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Figueiredo in the 89th minute of the match. Dario Scoca hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. William Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Teixeira in the 94th minute of play. Olympique Deleon played a much better game than S.E. Cachoeirinha and deserved their victory. The S.E. Cachoeirinha players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
