The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Nazario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique Deleon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E. Cachoeirinha the free kick. After 6 played minutes, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Hílton Alagoano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Fagrell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.E. Cachoeirinha reached it. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Fabinho Vinhas hit a great ball. Samuel Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ismael de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hélder Proença fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Cachoeirinha's protests and gave Hélder Proença a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Proença to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Olympique Deleon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Dahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olympique Deleon's William Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Teixeira in the 22nd minute of play. William Fagrell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafinha Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. William Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Gonçalves in the 30th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Olympique Deleon's Ismael de Carvalho threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Samuel Dahlberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ismael de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Dahlberg in the 35th minute of the match. Hílton Alagoano hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Olympique Deleon's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Gonçalves came free, but William Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Scoca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ismael de Carvalho made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reginaldo Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. Dario Scoca hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Nazario scored 1-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldo Nazario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Scoca came free, but Ismael de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Nazario notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho. Ismael de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mathias Rossi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Lauro Moura shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by William Fagrell but with some difficulty. After 74 minutes, Oséas Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympique Deleon and the S.E. Cachoeirinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Olympique Deleon got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Almeida. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Dahlberg in the 76th minute of play. Fabinho Vinhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but William Fagrell made a huge save. With a little luck, Olympique Deleon's William Fagrell got control of the ball when Rafinha Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Olympique Deleon fully deserved thier win.
