Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abel de Godoi kicked off to start the match. Yuri da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloísio Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Godoi in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Matadores FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luisinho Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivedos's players had a chance to rest. Matadores FC's Rogério Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aloísio Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Alexsandro da Costa in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Matadores FC's Gerson Bueno. In the 16th minute, Gerson Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aloísio Abreu made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Abel de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel de Godoi in the 20th minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel de Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aloísio Abreu having to make a save. Aloísio Abreu made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ricardinho Vianna sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute, Rogério Carneiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matadores FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 28th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Matadores FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abel de Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aloísio Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel de Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Aloísio Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel de Godoi came free, but Aloísio Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Abel de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aloísio Abreu came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Olivedos's Abel de Godoi. But to his dismay, Abel de Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 39th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match Olivedos got a corner. Matadores FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luisinho Ceresso ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Magno Sampaio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Nilton Fontes made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Abel de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Matadores FC's Válbson Sarmento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 55th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuri da Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilton Fontes in the 58th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Matadores FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Olivedos. Cássio Ferraz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aloísio Abreu. 2-2. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Abel de Godoi put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aloísio Abreu. Olivedos's Kaká Passos was substituted for Ricardinho Vianna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel de Godoi in the 73rd minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horácio Zanette hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Abel de Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivedos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Matadores FC's Aloísio Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel de Godoi in the 85th minute of play. Olivedos's Kaká Passos got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aloísio Abreu came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Olivedos's Abel de Godoi. But to his dismay, Abel de Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Gonzalo Parraga kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Yuri da Cunha was a little too slow when Gerson Bueno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 5-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olivedos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Matadores FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
