Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Palmeiras from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Nunes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Clist came free, but Amílton Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Palmeiras from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luke Clist in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Bezerra saved Nunes FC from getting behind. Karl-Oskar Åkerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Régis de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Oskar Åkerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Régis de Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Oskar Åkerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Amílton Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Qarabulud La Forgia's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luke Clist in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Bezerra saved Nunes FC from getting behind. The corner led Palmeiras's Valdir Lopes to fire away a dangerous shot which Amílton Bezerra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Amílton Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qarabulud La Forgia in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Luke Clist made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nunes FC's Amílton Bezerra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Palmeiras made a substitution. Waldemar Jacinto replaced Michel Sergipano. After the first half Palmeiras were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Oskar Åkerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nunes FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdir Lopes was slow to take the kick. During this time Palmeiras's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Leonardo Donato heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Qarabulud La Forgias short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Amílton Bezerra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 62 minutes into the match, Nunes FC's goalkeeper Amílton Bezerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qarabulud La Forgia. Qarabulud La Forgia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Amílton Bezerra made a huge save. In the 63rd match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Lopes to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Nicolaas Terhorst. Amílton Bezerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qarabulud La Forgia in the 75th minute. Luke Clist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Amílton Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Nunes FC booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Şelaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Régis de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Dracena in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qarabulud La Forgia got free with Amílton Bezerra in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Qarabulud La Forgia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Amílton Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
