Régis de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Aloísio Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Clist in the 14th minute of the match. Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Corrêa in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Palmeiras booed when Zebus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastiaan Dijkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luke Clist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Zebus FC got a corner. Régis de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute Luke Clist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zebus FC's Eriberto Peixoto got a free kick in the 70th minute.
