Amílton Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Benê Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Sergipano having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Pedro Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nunes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Tasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvinho Corrêa took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amílton Bezerra. Amílton Bezerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Maicon Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 minutes, Kanu Zago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zebus FC and the Nunes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zebus FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Kanu Zago hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvinho Corrêa in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Bezerra saved Nunes FC from getting behind. Zebus FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hermínio Figueiredo in the 32nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Hermínio Figueiredo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amílton Bezerra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Silvinho Corrêa struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Amílton Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zebus FC. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvinho Corrêa to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvinho Corrêa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amílton Bezerra having to make a save. 56 minutes into the game, Silvinho Corrêa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Amílton Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvinho Corrêa took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amílton Bezerra. Amílton Bezerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvinho Corrêa in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amílton Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th match minute, Nunes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Messias to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Kamber Aktaş could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Amílton Bezerra however easily saved by the left post. Amílton Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Corrêa in the 68th minute of play. Zebus FC's Cauan Gomes was substituted for Leopoldo Nunes. Nunes FC's Amílton Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamber Aktaş in the 74th minute of play. When Silvinho Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Zebus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvinho Corrêa couldn't finish the play. Nunes FC's Amílton Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Nunes FC from getting a goal against them. Amílton Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Silvinho Corrêa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amílton Bezerra. Nunes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvinho Corrêa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Azevedo in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Bezerra saved Nunes FC from getting behind. In the 95th minute of the match Zebus FC got a corner. Nunes FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hermínio Figueiredo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Zebus FC's Sebastiaan Dijkman to fire away a dangerous shot which Amílton Bezerra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Zebus FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zebus FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
