Levani Peru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Levani Peru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Imperial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SinháCity FC the free kick. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for A.D. Imperial! Cléber Santos hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The supporters of SinháCity FC booed when A.D. Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of A.D. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Levani Peru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SinháCity FC's Levani Peru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Maravilha in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dadá Maravilha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Neymar Hulk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeri Zabelin having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dadá Maravilha during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes A.D. Frédson Trevisan's late challenge caught a A.D. Imperial's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If José Maria Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Váldson Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Dadá Maravilha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D. Imperial fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Santos in the 88th minute of play forced A.D. Imperial's goalkeeper Valeri Zabelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Váldson Lopez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SinháCity FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. When the final whistle sounded A.D. Imperial left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SinháCity FC.
