In the 5th match minute, Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Maguire to maneuver through the defense. When George De Bruyne fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Three Lions FC's protests and gave George De Bruyne a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Buffon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Villaverde Celeste Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guo Ao in the 13th minute. George Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guo Ao in the 15th minute. George De Bruyne was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 17 played minutes Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by George De Bruyne. Guo Ao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Buffon having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes in the game Esteban Montrell did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to George Messi. Edmund Wawrukiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. George Buffon came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay. But to his dismay, Roy Makaay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Mbappè stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Ekeroth. A well-hit corner resulted in Roy Makaay heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Roy Makaay came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Villaverde Celeste Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Makaay couldn't finish the play. Villaverde Celeste Clube made a substitution. Kıraç Uskan replaced Guo Ao. Kajetan Filanowski made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gunnar Ekeroth. George Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kıraç Uskan, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Kajetan Filanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Kıraç Uskan might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kıraç Uskan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute Kıraç Uskan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's Kajetan Filanowski got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Villaverde Celeste Clube made a substitution. Pedro Augusto Vale replaced Roy Makaay. Kajetan Filanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. George Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kıraç Uskan in the 84th minute of play. George Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kıraç Uskan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kıraç Uskan went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 97th minute, William Lucas made a precise shot to the right of George Buffon. Three Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Villaverde Celeste Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
