MUSHIBA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VIAMÃO F.C.. the free kick. Charles Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Murillo Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiu Wei in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by MUSHIBA FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Válbson Capixaba was slow to take the kick. During this time VIAMÃO F.C..'s players had a chance to rest. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Donato made a kick off. Ulaş Baliç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Donato in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Álvaro Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qiu Wei got free with Murillo Valladares in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MUSHIBA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacá Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 78th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Rosa to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luukas Bollaert came free, but Murillo Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luukas Bollaert in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murillo Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Frédson do Vale. Murillo Valladares acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Válbson Capixaba. When Adelino Falcão came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the VIAMÃO F.C.. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Falcão couldn't finish the play. VIAMÃO F.C..'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
