In the 8th minute of the match Three Lions FC got a corner. Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. George Lukaku ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza got control of the ball when George Messi tried to sneak it across the goal line. George Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Makaay, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Roy Makaay made a precise shot to the right of George Buffon. Three Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 21st minute, Roy Makaay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Three Lions FC's George Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Makaay in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Three Lions FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guo Ao was slow to take the kick. During this time Villaverde Celeste Clube's players had a chance to rest. George Buffon came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay. But to his dismay, Roy Makaay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Three Lions FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villaverde Celeste Clube were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Messi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from William Lucas in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Three Lions FC's Kajetan Filanowski. George Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Makaay, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Roy Makaay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. George Messi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Nenko Reza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roy Makaay took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Buffon. George Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Esteban Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Villaverde Celeste Clube defense, George Messi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nenko Reza. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nenko Reza should have stopped the shot. Villaverde Celeste Clube made a substitution. Kıraç Uskan replaced Guo Ao. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Pedro Augusto Vale was substituted for Armandinho Xavier. 77 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Makaay came free, but George Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nenko Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Mbappè in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Kajetan Filanowski hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Roy Makaay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Buffon was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Nenko Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Three Lions FC booed when Villaverde Celeste Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Manfredi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Villaverde Celeste Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
