They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Murillo Valladares stood somewhat misplaced when José Paulo Mello came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 68 minute. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when Cercadinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, José Paulo Mello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murillo Valladares. MUSHIBA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Paulo Mello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Cercadinho made a substitution. Valiente Venezian replaced José Paulo Mello. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valiente Venezian in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murillo Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cercadinho played a much better game than MUSHIBA FC and deserved their victory. The MUSHIBA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
