Murillo Valladares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Frédson do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 49 minutes, Ole-Johan Larsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alfa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ole-Johan Larsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stian Selnes made a kick off. The supporters of Alfa FC booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luan Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Alfa FC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Alfa FC's Stian Selnes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Murillo Valladares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stian Selnes's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when Alfa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rodolfo Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Ferreirinha Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murillo Valladares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 91st minute Ferreirinha Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Stian Selnes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murillo Valladares. MUSHIBA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stian Selnes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alfa FC had played much better football throughout.
