In the 12th minute, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Maurinho Hermes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Genílson Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, PIAUÍ FC's Baturhan Oytun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genílson Dante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Renato Sá made a great header on PIAUÍ FC's corner, it was just that BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Genílson Dante managed to reach the ball for a save. After 23 minutes of play, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Geovanni Trancoso made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iurie Chiriacescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baturhan Oytun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Baturhan Oytun almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Genílson Dante did a great save. In the 41st minute, Baturhan Oytun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Guga Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, PIAUÍ FC's Baturhan Oytun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genílson Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

When Vladimir de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the PIAUÍ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir de Sena couldn't finish the play. The PIAUÍ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iurie Chiriacescu should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 66 in the game by Baturhan Oytun from a close distance when the talented Genílson Dante managed to make a qualified save. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s players were relieved. Thanks to some nice moves Baturhan Oytun could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Genílson Dante however easily saved by the left post. Guga Trancoso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Genílson Dante firmly grabbed it by the left post. PIAUÍ FC made a substitution. Mete Gøl replaced Baturhan Oytun. In the 74th minute of the match PIAUÍ FC got a corner. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Renato Sá ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Renato Sá got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Genílson Dante quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mete Gøl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Genílson Dante made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, PIAUÍ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Hermes came free, but Iurie Chiriacescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mete Gøl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genílson Dante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. PIAUÍ FC's Iurie Chiriacescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Hermes in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Gøl in the 89th minute of play forced BARBARIDADE G.M.'s goalkeeper Genílson Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
